At our service desk

When you drop off your vehicle, we’ll ask if you’d like text updates. Here’s exactly what we say:

  1. First, we read back your number
    “Is [number] your mobile number?”
  2. Then we ask
    “Would you like text updates about your vehicle from Mikalyzed Garage at this number? We text repair status, estimate and payment links, and replies to your questions from (786) 756-4015. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Terms and privacy are at mikalyzedgarage.com. It's not required for your repair. Do you agree?”
  3. If you say yes

    We check the box that records your consent and tell you:

    “Thanks. You'll get a text from (786) 756-4015 confirming you're signed up.”
  4. If you say no or aren’t sure

    We don’t turn on texts. Your repair goes ahead the same way.

We turn on texts only after you say yes. We record the date, time and the staff member who asked, and we text you a confirmation right away.
